Baby D (dance group)

Baby D is the name of a British Drum-and-Bass/Euro-House-Band, which became known with their single Let Me Be Your Fantasy, which reached number one in the UK Singles Chart.

Career

The group was founded by Production House Records in life, a record label that was founded in 1987 by Phil Fearon, whose band, Phil Fearon & Galaxy could place several hit singles in the UK charts in the 1980s. Producer at Production House, Floyd Dyce was difficult involved in the rave scene and published his works under several different names such as The House Crew, DMS and Xstatic. Baby D was another mouthpiece for his compositions and consisted of singer ( Baby D ) Dee Galdes - Fearon and keyboardist and vocalist Terry Jones (MC Nino ).

The early singles between 1991 and 1994 were base hits. Two of them made it to the rear positions of the UK Top 75 Let Me Be Your Fantasy was the exception. It was first published in 1992 and held for two years in the lower half of the unreleased Top 200 list with about 40,000 copies sold. It also reached number one for two weeks on the dance charts. In 1994, the piece of London Records was released again, popped straight to number 3 in the British charts and was able to maintain the top position two weeks. This time around a quarter million copies were sold.

In the summer of 1995 Baby D reached number three with a rave version of the ballad Everybody 's Got to Learn Sometime by The Korgis, which was renamed in I Need Your Loving. More hits and a Top 5 album called Deliverance followed.

Dyce now runs his own label, Redmaster, and writes and produces continue while Fearon and Jones still gets raves and events in the UK, Poland, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Greece and the Middle East.

Jones also wrote to a number one hit from Peter Andre with and produced and mixed for Eternal, the Backstreet Boys and Sarah Cracknell.

2000 reached a remix of Let Me Be Your Fantasy 16th place The song was covered by Ashley Jade also 2004.

In summer 2008 the band took part in the rave Global Gathering.
