Bad Grund (Samtgemeinde)

The Samtgemeinde Bad Grund (Harz ) was an integrated municipality in Lower Saxony district of Osterode am Harz. In it, five municipalities had joined forces to do their administrative business.

On March 1, 2013, the Act came on the formation of the community of Bad Grund (Harz ), Landkreis Osterode am Harz on 18 July 2012. The Samtgemeinde broke up, the community of Bad Grund (Harz ) is the legal successor.

Neighboring communities

North of the Samtgemeinde the city was Seesen ( Landkreis Goslar), north-east of the mountain city Wilde Mann ( Landkreis Goslar), south the town of Osterode am Harz ( Osterode am Harz district ) and west of the municipality in the district of Northeim Kalefeld.
