Bad Kösen (Verwaltungsgemeinschaft)
The administrative community Bad Kösen was an administrative community in the castle district in the south of Saxony- Anhalt. It included besides the administrative headquarters of Bad Kösen last the communities Abtlöbnitz, Crölpa - Löbschütz, Janisroda, Leislau and Prießnitz to.
The administration had Community 6850 inhabitants (December 31, 2006) on an area of 65.57 km ². The last head of the administrative community was Christopher emus.
Following decision by the National Administration Office of Saxony -Anhalt in October 2006, the management community should be officially disbanded on 31 December 2006. Only the member communities Taugwitz and Möllern changed for the management community to the Finn. All other municipalities should pass into the easternmost administrative community Wethautal ( seat Osterfeld ). The VG Wethautal sued the assignment.
The Higher Administrative Court of Saxony- Anhalt sat in an emergency procedure on 29 December 2006 from the integration of Abtlöbnitz, Crölpa - Löbschütz, Janisroda, Leislau, Prießnitz and Bad Kösen in the administrative community Wethautal. The administrative community Bad Kösen in 2007 remained until further six member communities exist.
In its final judgment, saying the Oberwaltungsgericht decided on 11 December 2007 that decreed in October 2006 allocation of VG to VG Bad Kösen Wethautal for the five remaining rural communities is allowed, but not however for Bad Kösen itself
Thus, the resolution of the municipality of Bad Kösen, the end of 31 December 2007 was performed.
The spa town of Bad Kösen was from 2008 unit community. It has a population but the force in Saxony -Anhalt threshold for other municipal autonomy did not reach.
On January 1, 2010 Bad Kösen, Janisroda, Prießnitz and Crölpa - Löbschütz in the city of Naumburg (Saale ) were incorporated. On the same day, the communities Abtlöbnitz and Leislau the community came Molauer land in the municipality Wethautal.
