Badou Jack

Badou Jack ( born October 31, 1983 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish boxer. He is a Swedish and Gambian because of his father and the Gambian citizenship. He participated in the 2008 Olympic Games.

In the final round of the Swedish Championship from 20 to 22 April 2007 in Sundsvall, he won against Babacar Kamara. At the Second African Cup Qualification from 24 to 29 March 2008, the Association Internationale de Boxe Amateur ( AIBA ) in Windhoek, he has in the discipline middleweight ( 75 kg ) by the victory in the final against Herry Saliku Biembe from the Democratic Republic Congo qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

Jack first fought as an amateur for Sweden, but moved prior to the qualifying, in March 2008, the Nationality completely starts now for Gambia.

2008 Olympics

Badou Jack took at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing in the weight class middleweight part. He had his first fight against the Indian Vijender Kumar. Jack defeated with 13:2 points and thus he could not continue to qualify.
