The Baia Mare Airport ( IATA: BAY, ICAO:. LRBM; rum Aeroportul iNTernational Baia Mare) is a Romanian regional airport about ten minutes drive from Baia Mare south of the small town Tautii - Magheraus.

The history of the airport dates back to the year 1929. In 1964 started to build a 1,400 m long paved airstrip and from 1966, the airport was regularly served by smaller aircraft post. From 1977 to 1979, the start and runway was extended to its current length of 1800 m.

Currently, there is only one flight connection on site, the Romanian national airline, TAROM joins Baia Mare five times a week with the International Henri- Coanda airport in the capital Bucharest.
