The Estadio Balaídos is a football stadium in the Spanish city of Vigo in the northwestern autonomous community of Galicia. It is home to the Spanish side Celta Vigo.

History

In September 1924 some businessmen bought chaired by Joaquín Fontan, the then President of the Tramway Company, a 75,000 square meter plot of land to build a stadium.
