The Balgarska Armia Stadium ( Bulgarian стадион " Българска армия " to German stadium of the Bulgarian Army ) is a football stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria.
It is the home stadium of CSKA Sofia and houses 22,015 seats. The stadium is situated in the Borisova Gradina district ( Boris Park) in the center of Sofia. The 22,015 seats are distributed as follows
- Sector A - 6417 seats
- Sector B - 4889 seats
- Sector V - 5689 seats
- Sector G - 5020 seats
- 2100 Standing
The field dimensions are 106 times 66 meters.
History
1923, the stadium was built and opened. 1965-67 it was renovated according to plans of architect Anton Karavelov, S. Ivanov and the Office Prono. 1982 and 1998 made further renovations. Today the Bulgarian U-21 national team plays its games from this stadium.
