BÃ¥stad Municipality

Båstad is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne County and the historic provinces of Skåne and Halland. The main town of the municipality is Båstad.

The name is derived from the old Danish- Båtsted, the boat facility means.
