Bat Out of Hell: Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

Bat out of Hell: Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is a live album by Meat Loaf, released at Mercury Records and Sanctuary, 2004.

The album was recorded on 20 and February 22, 2004 during Meat Loaf Australian tour. Meat Loaf is supported for the concerts by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. As the name suggests, the album contains live versions of the seven titles of 1977 released album Bat out of Hell. It should be noted that Heaven Can Wait can be heard on the CD, but was played live at either of the two concerts.

DVD version

The two concerts were filmed and released on DVD under the name Live With the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. The soundtrack is available in audio versions stereo, 5.1 Dolby Digital and Digital Theatre Sound. The language is English, but there are subtitles in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The duration of the concert recording is about 134 minutes and is in PAL -16 :9- image format 4:3 or as an extra.
