Baures

Baures is a country town in the Beni Department in the lowlands of the South American landlocked country like Bolivia.

Location in near space

Baures is the central place of the district ( bolivian: Municipio) Baures and is located in the province of Iténez at an altitude of 150 m on the left bank of the Rio Negro, the part of the river system of the Río Iténez. Baures is seventy kilometers southeast of the provincial capital of Magdalena and 200 kilometers northeast of Trinidad, the capital of the department.

Geography

The climate in the area Baures is characterized by a typical for the tropics balanced temperature curve with only minor fluctuations and an annual average temperature of nearly 27 ° C (see climate chart Magdalena ). Baures lies at a distance of 375 kilometers of road northwest of Trinidad, the capital of the department.

From Trinidad from the highway Ruta 9 leads to 211 kilometers to the north on La Esperanza to San Ramón. Here branches off a dirt road to the east, after 82 km the city Magdalena reached and after a further 82 kilometers to the southeast across the city Huacaraje Baures.
