Bavarian Pts 3/4

The Pts 3/4 were meter gauge tank locomotives of the Royal Bavarian State Railways for the operation of the steam tram Neuoetting Altötting. The German Reichsbahn locomotives ordered the 1925 in the range 99.13 -in.

History

The vehicles of Pts 3/4 were used on the steam tram Neuoetting Altötting. A total of four aircraft were built by Krauss in Munich. The numbers 1101, 1102 and 1103 in 1906, 1104, however, after the retirement of No. 1102 in 1922. They had like classic tramway locomotives a disguised engine, a high center of boiler underneath water tank, bridge plates and a railing for the circulation. The locomotives were intended for einmännige operation.

After the takeover by the German Reichsbahn the three remaining machines were 1925 new numbers 99131-99 133

The locomotives were used only as a backup machine after the route decommissioning in 1930 and retired in 1931. But locomotive 99 133 (ex No. 1104 Factory No. 7986 ) still found a new use in the small railway Waller Village Münchshöfen where they from 1938 until the closure of this railway line in 1949 was doing their service. After that, she was scrapped.
