Bavarian PtzL 3/4

The PtzL 3/4 of the Royal Bavarian State Railways were Zahnradlokomotiven whose gear engine was designed for driving on tracks with rack system Strub. They were classified in 1923 by the Deutsche Reichsbahn as Class 97.1 in its numbering plan. Until the termination of the gear train route between Passau - Hauzenberg # route description ERLAU upper cell Wegscheid in 1963 the locomotives remained on their regular route. The last ride was on 5 January 1963. They were scrapped in April 1964 in Simbach.
