Bayerischer Poetentaler
The Bavarian Poetentaler is an award from the South German writers association Munich Turmschreiber. The Poetentaler is awarded annually to institutions and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Bavarian culture.
From 1961 to 1973 three annual prizes have been awarded since 1974, it is usually four or five. Most authors, actors, comedians, singers and vocal and musical groups as well as politicians and supporters are Excellent.
