Beaudesert, Queensland

Beaudesert is a town in south-eastern Queensland (Australia). Beaudesert is located about 60 km south of Brisbane and about 40 km west of the Pacific Ocean on the Mount Lindesay Highway. The village is situated on the Logan River. 1842 a cattle ranch called Beaudesert was founded on the banks of this river, which developed the town of Beaudesert over the years. The cattle ranch was named after the place Beaudesert in Staffordshire (England). In 2006, Beaudesert had 5,383 inhabitants.
