Belgium men's national volleyball team

The Belgian national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Belgian players the Fédération Royale Belge de Volleyball represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

At the first World Volleyball Championship in 1949 with ten participants Belgium occupied the last place in front of the neighbors Netherlands. In 1956, the Belgians did not get beyond the 17th rank in 1962 and they moved their team back after the first round. After the 14th place 1966 Belgium In 1970 his best result eighth. Then it went on eleventh place down to 18th place in 1978. Thereafter, Belgium could not qualify for the World Cup.

Olympic games

The only Olympic tournament with Belgian participation there was in Mexico in 1968. Belgium reached the eighth.

European
