Bella Igla

Bella Gesser ( Born as Bella Igla; Hebrew בלה איגלה, Russian Белла Игла; born June 2, 1985 in Tambov, Soviet Union) is an Israeli chess player.

She took part in the Russian U12 and U16 Championship and moved to Israel in 1998. Since 2003, she is coached by Mark B. Ruderfer. The 25 Israeli women's championship she won in Ramat Aviv in 2004 with 1.5 points ahead. The Israeli women's national team took on the third board at the Chess Olympiads in 2004, 2006 and 2008, and in part on the second board at the Chess Olympiad in 2010 with a total score of 30 points from 43 games ( 24, = 12, -7 ). At European Team Championships for women they took with the Israeli national team in 2005, 2007 and 2009 in part with a total score of 13 points from 24 games ( 9, = 8, -7 ). Chess club plays in Israel for Hapoel Petach Tikva. With the MadaTech Haifa Chess Club took part in the European Club Cup for women's teams in 2008.

She has been wearing the Chess Olympiad 2004 in Calvia the title of Grand Master of the women ( WGM ). Your Elo rating of 2290 (January 2014), and is thus, on the fourth place in the Israeli Elo ranking of women. Their highest ever Elo rating was 2299 in July 2005 and from November 2010 until June 2011.
