Belmont transmitting station

The transmitter Belmont is a transmitter system at Donington on Bain near Market Rasen and Louth in Lincolnshire ( United Kingdom ) for the distribution of television and radio programs on the FM band.

The transmission tower was built in 1965 in the Lincolnshire Wolds is 385 m high. He is therefore the tallest building in the UK and across the EU. The guyed mast is used to supply parts of Lincolnshire, the northern areas of Nottinghamshire, North West Norfolk, Hull and East Yorkshire with FM radio programs as well as analog and digital television programs.

It is named after the living space Belmont House.
