Benjamin "Ben" Wearing ( born May 8, 1989 in Maitland ) is an Australian football player.

Career

Wearing was in the Gold Coast Premier League for Magic United, Coomera Colts SC and last Musgrave active when he accepted the offer in 2009 to play for the youth team of Gold Coast United in the National Youth League. He had previously represented at the school level Queensland and is also a member of the local representative team of Gold Coast. With the youth team under coach Mike Mulvey Wearing won as a regular player in 2010 and 2011 the championship in the National Youth League. The predicted Mulvey breakthrough wearings in the A-League but failed to materialize.

His only use for gold Coasts professional team in the A-League was Wearing on November 28, 2009, when he in at a 0:4 defeat against the reigning champions Melbourne Victory because of several failures due to injury in central defense alongside Michael Thwaite the grid stood and played. Despite the significant defeat Wearing received an extra praise after the game coach Miron Bleiberg. After the season 2010/11 he played during the season break on loan in the Victorian Premier League for Heidelberg United, no longer appeared on the 2011/12 season but the squad lists of Gold Coast United.

In addition to his footballer career Wearing studied International Business at Griffith University.
