Benaize

The river in Trimouille

The Benaize is a river in France, which runs in the Limousin, Poitou -Charentes and Centre. It rises in the municipality of La Souterraine, drained generally in a northwesterly direction and flows 79 kilometers away below Saint -Hilaire- sur -Benaize as a left tributary of the Anglin. In the opening section it reaches the Regional Natural Park of Brenne. On her way she crosses the entire department Creuse, Haute -Vienne, Vienne and Indre.
