Benjamin Barg (2011)

Benjamin Barg ( born September 15, 1984 in Bonn ) is a German football player who can be used both as a defensive midfielder as well as on the position of central defender.

Career

Benjamin Barg played in youth clubs for Bahlinger SC, SV Sandhausen, SV Upper Reichenbach and VfL Herrenberg.

From 2005 to the beginning of the season 2008 he played at Karlsruher SC and for the KSC Amateurs (Karlsruher SC II). In the second league, he played a game ( matchday 32 of the 2005/06 season 7-0 win against Eintracht Braunschweig KSC ), in the former Regionalliga Süd, however, a total of 71 games ( 5 goals). In the Bundesliga squad of KSC, he stood for a time in the 2007/ 08 season, but without coming to an insert. During the winter break, he moved to SV Sandhausen, where he came up with eleven appearances in the Regionalliga Süd. In the 2008 /09 season he played for third division side SV Borussia Wuppertal, where he lost his place at the beginning of the season.

2009 closed Barg is the VfR Aalen, which was relegated to the Regionalliga Süd and under coach Rainer Scharinger, under whom he had been trained in its sand houses time, one to three players completely new team put together, and was behind Aytaç Sulu, the Barg also already knew from his time at SV Sandhausen, vice-captain of the team. Barg became a regular player with the team and reached the championship of the Regional and thus the direct re-emergence back into the Second Division. He also won the WFV Cup. The following season, he retained his place under new coach Ralph Hasenhüttl, who took over the team in the winter break; by Barg was the only outfield player throughout the Third Division, who played all 38 season games. After Captain Sulu Aytaç left the VfR in summer 2011, Hasenhüttl Benjamin Barg appointed as the new captain of the team. However, he lost his place through injury and, therefore, came before the winter break on only in nine games for use, of which only four from the beginning, which is why the former vice-captain Leandro Grech was appointed instead Barg captain. Also in the second round, he played only irregularly, but reached with the club at the end of the season the second place and thus promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.

But as he had lost by the injury the connection to the team, Barg has been removed to the new 2012/13 season from the squad for the first team and suggested to him by the authorities, a change of club. He coached then with the second team the Aalen before his was not resolved until the end of the season ongoing contract in January 2013. Barg then joined to the gambling in the regional second team of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
