Bahlinger SC

History

The club was founded in 1929. Until 31 December 2012, there were two departments, the football and the gymnastics department. The gymnasts have, however, separated by 1 January 2013 and is now called independent TV Bahlingen. The football team played until the end of the 1960s in the lower amateur classes. 1969 reached the summit in the Amateur League scheme, which for fourth-class Federation League in 1978. After the soccer players in the 1994 and 1995 promotion to the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg just barely missed, abolished the Bahlinger SC 1996, the championship of the Association League South Baden and then went on to the Oberliga. This is where the club remained until relegation in 2005. During the season 2005/ 06 they reached the promotion back to the premier league.

In the season 2002/ 03 the BSC in the DFB Cup was represented and was eliminated in the second round with just 1-2 against Waldhof Mannheim. In the first round you could still penetrated against Alemannia Aachen 1-0.

In the 2013/14 season of Bahlinger SC met again at the DFB Cup after the team had won the final of the South Baden Federation Cup against FC Radolfzell 3-1. In the first round, the Red -Whites failed at second division VfL Bochum 1:3.
