TSG Balingen

The TSG Balingen ( officially TSG Balingen of 1848 eV, TSG of Gymnastics and Sports Association ) is a sports club in Balingen in Baden -Württemberg. The TSG is with more than 1,800 members of the largest sports club in the city and has numerous departments ( such as football, judo, handball, fist ball, athletics, basketball and gymnastics).

The first men's handball team merged in 2002 with the crew of the TV Weilstetten for HBW Balingen- Stetten Because that plays in the Handball - Bundesliga since 2006.

Soccer Department

The football team of TSG Balingen plays since the 2008/2009 season in the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg.

Achievements so far:

  • 2004/ 05: Vice Association of Master League Württemberg - Reaching the ascent Games Oberliga Baden -Württemberg
  • 2005/ 06: Vice Association of Master League Württemberg - Reaching the ascent Games Oberliga Baden -Württemberg
  • 2007/ 08: Master of the Federation League Württemberg - promotion to the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg

Stadium

Au stadium is designed for athletics and football events. It holds around 8000 spectators and provides, among other things 600 covered seats in four blocks. Currently, a plan approval procedure which has granted with only one abstention, the council runs. Thus, to be tackled in 2011 a complete renovation in modular construction.
