Leandro Grech ( 2011)

Leandro Grech ( born October 24, 1980 in Rosario, Santa Fe Province), usually just called Leandro, is an Argentine football player.

Career

Grech played for several South American clubs in his native Argentina and in Chile and Bolivia. The Aurora Club of Cochabamba, Bolivia, he was qualified for the Copa Sudamericana.

In summer 2006, Grech moved to Germany to South - division side SC Pfullendorf. There he completed in one and a half years, 50 games in which he scored six goals. During the winter break of the season 2007/ 08 Leandro Grech was transferred to FC Erzgebirge Aue, with whom he descended from the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the season.

In the 2008 /09 season was the midfielder at third division SV Sandhausen under contract. Then Grech played for two seasons in the league rivals SpVgg Unterhaching. In all the years he was a regular player in his team and completed each season over 30 games.

For the 2011/12 season Leandro Grech changes to VfR Aalen, where he was appointed vice-captain behind Benjamin Barg. Because of this injury but lost his place, Grech was appointed as the new team captain. Even with the Swabians he was an integral part of the team in central midfield and completed to within a few minutes all 38 season games. In the end, the team reached number two and went up to the 2nd Bundesliga.
