Kevin Ruiz Castellanos (born 29 June 1991 in Ulm ) is a German - Spanish footballer. Since 2011 is the 1.80 m wide midfielder VfR Aalen under contract, in the youth team he played previously. Since January 2013 he played on loan at FC Memmingen.
Career
Born in Ulm, Kevin Ruiz began his career in the youth of the TSV Mr. Lingen and later moved to the youth of the TSV Blaustein. From there he joined the youth team of SSV Ulm 1846. About 1.FC Heidenheim he finally came 2009 on the A- youth of the Junior Team Aalen, a cooperation of three Aalen football clubs under the auspices of VfR Aalen, where he was appointed captain. At the end of the 2009/10 season he reached the U -19 promotion from the Association season in the U-19 Serie A, the second highest German junior league.
For the new season 2010/11 Ruiz made the jump to the second team of VfR Aalen, which took a U- 23 in the sechstklassigen Association League Württemberg. Again, he quickly became a top performer and leading player within the team, for the second round, he was appointed captain. After he had been trained at the common in the first team under coach Ralph Hasenhüttl, he moved up in the third division of the first team squad for the 2011/12 season. His professional debut came on 23 July 2011, when he stood in the 2-0 defeat against SV Sandhausen in the starting lineup on the opening day of the season. Five days later, on 28 August 2011, he signed VfR a three-year contract. After that, he had seven more missions in the 3rd league, all in the first round. At the end of the season the team reached number two and went up to the 2nd Bundesliga.
He, however, came in the first round of the following season not used. To get match practice, Ruiz was therefore half a year on loan in early 2013 until the end of the season division side FC Memmingen.
