Bennett Lake

The Lake Bennett, officially Bennett Lake, is a lake in the Canadian province of British Columbia and the Yukon Territory.

During the Klondike Gold Rush, the end of the 19th century use of the prospectors who had come into the interior of Skagway or Dyea over the Chilkoot or White Pass, the lake as a starting point for the onward journey to Dawson in boats on the Yukon. To date, the 1898 combines commissioned in White Pass & Yukon Route Railway in Skagway with the southern end of Lake Bennett. Villages on the lake are Carcross and the abandoned Bennett.

The Bennett Lake is drained by the short Natasaheeni River adjacent to the Tagish Lake.
