Benoît Zwierzchiewski

Benoît Zwierzchiewski ( born August 19, 1976 in Mouscron, Belgium ) is a French long-distance runner.

In 1995 he became the national champion in the 10,000 -meter run and 1996 and 1998 in the 10 - km road race. In 1998 he was third in the Reims Marathon in 2:10:51 h, and in 2000 he was just there with a victory in 2:10:47 French Marathon Champion. In a marathon, the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton in 2001, he finished 13th place.

In 2002, he won the Paris Marathon in 2:08:18 and came at the European Athletics Championships in Munich on the 14th Place. The following year he was runner-up at the same place and presented with the European record of 2:06:36 António Pinto one. In 2004, he was sixth at the London Marathon in 2:09:35.

2009 and 2011 he won the Marseille marathon in 2:25:57 and 2:19:39.

" Benoît Z", as it is also called, is 1.71 m tall and weighs 57 kg.
