Beaver Brook is a municipality with 2194 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria.
Geography
Beaver Brook is located in the Most district in Lower Austria in the hills between the mean Ybbs and the url The area of the municipality covers 28.37 km2. The municipality also includes the only Cadastral ( called beaver creek ) and numerous districts (core village, Angerhof, Aubauern, beaver creek village, beaver creek environment Brandhof, Dumdachting, Engelberg, Gstadthof, wood Bauer, Innergrub, each village, cold Aigen, small alleys, Kugelau, Mariental, Oismühle, Parkfried, Pötzlöd, Prastrum, Schörghub, Strasbourg farmers Stupfreit, Tiefenweg, Much Metzen, Willersdorf ).
History
In ancient times, the area was part of the province of Noricum. Beaver creek was first mentioned in 1116. In the core Austrian state of Lower Austria lying the place told the eventful history of Austria.

Mayor of the municipality is Karl Latschenberger, office manager Werner Wagner. In the council there after the municipal elections of 2010 a total of 21 seats following distribution of seats: 17 ÖVP, SPÖ 4, no other seats.
