Biff Elliot

Biff Elliot ( born July 26, 1923 in Lynn, Massachusetts, † August 15, 2012; actually Leon Shalek ) was an American film actor.

Life

Elliot, the son of an entrepreneur who attended high school in Presque Isle, and then began in June 1941 to study at the University of Maine. This he broke in February 1943 to participate as a soldier of the 34th Infantry Division in World War II. In the following years he did his military service in Italy and was recently promoted to sergeant. After the war he resumed his studies at the University of Maine on again, which he completed in 1949. He then worked as a journalist and writer of short stories and articles for magazines in New York City.

In 1951 he made ​​his acting debut in the episode " Western Night" of the TV series Lights Out. In 1953 he played the lead role of " Mike Hammer" in the judge I am, the resulting directed by Harry Essex first film adaptation of a Mike Hammer novel by Mickey Spillane.
