Big Fun (band)

Big Fun was from 1989 to 1994 existing British boy band, regarded as Scotland's answer to Bros in the early days.

Originally the cover version I Feel The Earth Move should be released as the first single in the spring of 1989. As the singer Martika but released the song at the same time as a single, instead Living For Your Love was released - but without much success. Then it came to working with the Stock Aitken Waterman success Produzenteam that produced the title Blame It On The Boogie.

In the same year, the group has participated along with the other Pete Waterman Limited - artists such as Kylie Minogue, Lisa Stansfield or Jason Donovan on Band-Aid Project ( Band Aid II).

The 1990 released singles such as Can not Shake The Feeling, Handful Of Promises and Hey There Lonely Girl can also be found on the album A Pocketful Of Dreams. In addition, still appeared a duet with Sonia, You've Got A Friend.

1994 attempted Phil Creswick and Mark Gillespie making a comeback as Big Fun II - without Jason Herbert. The only single from this period " Stomp " but he could not place in the singles charts, and the group has dissolved.

The only band member who remained loyal to the music to this day, Phil Creswick, which is, inter alia, with Vince Clarke from Erasure the group Family Fantastic formed and 2000 brought the album " Nice! " on the market.
