Big West Conference

The Big West Conference is one of nine universities League for various sports that play in the NCAA Division I. In college football, the teams played until the 2000 season in Division IA ( now known as Football Bowl Subdivision ).

The League was founded in 1969 as the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference ( PCAA ), and renamed after nineteen years, 1988 in Big West Conference. The headquarters are located in Irvine, California.

Among the sports in which organized the Big West Conference contests, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, diving, tennis and track and baseball are among the men and softball and volleyball for women.

Hawaii ( Rainbow Warriors ), UC Davis ( Aggies ) and Cal Poly ( Mustangs ) also play American Football - Hawaii in the Mountain West Conference, UC Davis and Cal Poly in the Big Sky Conference.
