Björn Kopplin

Björn Kopplin ( born January 7, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German football player.

Youth

He began with six years of playing football at the 1 FC Union Berlin, where he played nine years in youth.

Career

Clubs

Kopplin played until 2004 in the youth department of the first FC Union Berlin and was transferred for a training compensation in the amount of 15,000 euros in the youth department of FC Bayern Munich, where he was employed until 2007 mainly in the U-19 team. Consistently good performances promoted him in 2007 to the regional team, for whom he made ​​his debut on 10 May 2008 ( 31 Matchday) in the 3-3 draw in the away match against SV Sandhausen, in the 74th minute when he Timo Heinze came on. National

With the U- 17 national team Kopplin took fourth place at the European Championship 2006. In 2008 he was appointed to the U-19 selection for the 2008 European Championship in the Czech Republic, with which he won 3-1 in the final against Italy and so was able to record the first title of his career. In the final Kopplin came like in the previous games used. During the U-19 European Championship, he played primarily as a left-back. In 2007, he stood in the squad at the UEFA European CAF Meridian Cup.
