Marc Pfertzel

Pfertzel (born 21 May 1981 in Mulhouse) is a French football player.

Career

A native of Alsace is full-back, who can also be used in the right midfield or at left-back. He comes from the youth department of FC Mulhouse. 1997 From there moved to Switzerland for FC Basel, where remained until the end of 2000. For the second round 2000/01 Pfertzel joined the FC Sochaux, but left the club at end of season again for Ligue 2 club ES Troyes AC. Also in Troyes thought it Pfertzel not longer. At the beginning of the 2002/ 03 signed a contract with the Alsatian third division side FC Sète 34

In July 2003 Pfertzel left his native France and moved to Italy to Livorno. With this club Pfertzel increased in 2004 to Serie A, where he was a regular player.

For the season 2007/ 08 he moved to Germany and went to the Bundesliga to hire at VfL Bochum. He signed a four-year contract, which is valid for the first and second Bundesliga. With the Bochum he could hold in the first two years of the class. 2010, however, they dismounted from the Bundesliga. In the 2nd Bundesliga Pfertzel came to little stakes. In winter 2011 Pfertzel therefore moved to the Greek first division club AO Kavala, where he was used eleven times ( a hit ). In the same year Pfertzel moved back to Germany and signed a contract with 1.FC Union Berlin for the 2nd Bundesliga. In the Berliners he belonged in his debut season for the permanent employees and denied 29 league games.
