Blåsjø

The Blåsjø is the tenth largest lake in Norway. It is located in the municipality Bykle in Aust -Agder and the municipalities Hjelmeland and Suldal in Rogaland.

The Blåsjø is a reservoir and acts as a reservoir for the hydroelectric plant Ulla- Førreverkene. On flood retention basin is also the Saurdal power plant ( Saurdal Kraftverk ). The lake has an energy potential of about 7.8 TWh per year. The reservoir as such has the largest energy reservoir of Norway and is an area of ​​84.48 km ², the ninth largest lake in the country.
