Blumenbar

Blumenbar was an independent book publisher, in 2002 from the culture editor Wolfgang Farkas (1967 ) and the publishing manager Lars Birken-Bertsch (* 1968) was founded in Munich in September 2009 and had its headquarters in Berlin. Since March 2012 Blumenbar will be continued as an imprint in the Berlin building -Verlag.

History

Came out Blumenbar from the eponymous literary salon, the two founders held in her apartment in the flower street in Munich and in different places since 1997. Decisive for the publishing establishment was the formation of Blumenbar clubs, a literary and cultural interests community.
