Bob Beemer
Robert Joseph "Bob" Beemer ( born February 8, 1955 in Los Angeles ) is an American sound engineer and four-time Oscar winner.
Life
Beemer studied " Communication Arts " and English at Loyola Marymount University ( LMU) in Los Angeles and graduated in 1977 with a bachelor's degree. In the same year he had his first work as a sound mixer in the television series Roots.
Bob Beemer has been awarded numerous prizes, including with one Oscar for best sound mixing for Speed (1994 ), Gladiator (2000), Ray (2004) and Dreamgirls (2006).
