Bob Peterson (filmmaker)

Bob Peterson ( b. 1961 in Wooster, Ohio) is an American voice actor and screenwriter.

Life

Peterson studied mechanical engineering at Ohio Northern University and Purdue University. He graduated in 1986. In 1994 he was hired by Pixar Animation Studios and worked on Toy Story, A Bug's Life and Toy Story 2. In addition, he also appeared as voice actors of various Pixar films such as Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles and Cars in appearance.

For the 2004 release movie Finding Nemo, he wrote the screenplay with David Reynolds, which both earned an Oscar nomination. He received another nomination in 2010 for the screenplay to the top. This time the award went to Mark Boal for The Hurt Locker - The Hurt Locker.
