Bogdan Țăruș

Bogdan Tarus ( Gabriel Bogdan Tarus; born August 1, 1975 in Piatra Neamţ ) is a Romanian long jumper.

At the World Athletics Championships 1995 in Gothenburg, 1997 in Athens and 1999 in Seville and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, he was eliminated in the qualifying. At the IAAF World Indoor Championships 1999, he was sixth and at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney ninth.

A renewed from qualifying for the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton followed by a tenth place finish at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis.

In 2004, he finished fourth at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest and eighth at the Olympic Games in Athens.

His personal best of 8.29 m he set up in Formia on 18 May 1996. In the hall to him, yet another jump with 8.30m succeeded on 29 January 2000 in Bucharest.
