Bohuslavice (Náchod District)

Bohuslavice has 950 inhabitants and is situated between the rivers of zlaty creek and Metuje in Okres Náchod (Czech Republic).

Location

The place, run by the three streets, is located in a intensively farmed area. It is dominated by agricultural buildings and the church of St. Nicholas. The current flowing from north to south by Bohuslavice Bach caused flooding several times.

History

The first written mention of Bohuslavice originates from 1361 when it was owned by the Sezema Dobruška. 1409 had Vitek Černčice of the village. After the year 1501 Johann Černčický of Kacov the town of Nové Město nad Metují established and moved its headquarters there, was Bohuslavice part of the Nové Město nad Metují.
