Bojohagur Duanasir

Bojohagur Duanasir or Bojohaghur I is a peak in the Batura Muztagh, a portion of the Karakoram. It is the western summit of a short ridge, the highlight of which is the Ultar Sar. It is located about 10 km northeast of Karimabad, a town on the Karakoram Highway, in the autonomous region of Gilgit- Baltistan in Pakistan.

History

The Bojohagur Duanasir 1984 E. Kisa, M. Nagoshi and R. Okamoto boarded the members guided by Tsumeo Omae Japanese expedition. The climb to the summit took place from Hasanabad glacier on the southwest ridge.

Neighboring peaks and glaciers

The main peak of the massif is located east of Ultar Sar, which was climbed in 1996 by a Japanese group. To the north is the pyramidal Shispare ( 7,611 m) and located along the southwest ridge of the massif is still the Hunza Peak ( 6270 m) and the pinnacle Bublimotin ( Ladyfinger Peak). The glaciers that drain the slopes of the massif, are starting clockwise from the north: the Ghulkin glacier, the glacier Gulmit, the Ahmad Abad glacier, the glacier of Ultar and Hasanabad glacier. ( Many of these have several names. )
