Bonrepos-Riquet
Bonrepos Riquet is a commune in the Haute- Garonne ( high -Garonne) in the Région Midi -Pyrénées. The village has 242 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).
Pierre -Paul Riquet, the founder of the Canal du Midi, bought in 1651 the former country seat near Verfeil with 150 hectares of park and the Bonrepos castle in the Renaissance style. There he lived and found his final resting place. Although not in the peerage, he was named after his tenure as " Baron de Bonrepos " address.

Bonrepos Riquet is located 200 m above sea level on average. NN high, 22 km north-east of Toulouse.
