Bořek Dočkal ( born September 30, 1988 in Městec Králové ) is a Czech footballer who is currently playing for Sparta Prague.

Club career

Dočkal began playing football at Bohemia Poděbrady and moved at the age of nine years in the junior section of Slavia Prague. In Slavia he went through all the youth teams before being used from the 2006/07 season in the B team that played in the CFL. On 15 October 2006 the at that time 18 -year-old Dočkal debuted in a 1-0 away win against SK Kladno in the Gambrinus Liga. In the rest of the season, the midfielder joined five other inserts in the highest Czech league, scoring on 27 November 2006 in a 4-2 away win over FK Teplice his first goal in the professional sector. For the B team he met in a total of 18 games five times.

To get more match practice, Dočkal was loaned out to league rivals SK Kladno in the summer of 2007. In Kladno, the midfielder was immediately to the permanent staff and played in all 14 group stage matches the Gambrinus League Season 2007/08. Consistently good performances earned him then the change from relegation Kladno to the European Cup contender Slovan Liberec. Also in Liberec Dočkal immediately conquered a permanent place. In the 2008 /09 season he put his shot strength to the test and scored five goals in 27 matches. In July 2010 Dočkal was awarded for one year to the Turkish first division club Konyaspor. In August 2011 he signed a three and a half year contract with Rosenborg Trondheim.

National

Dočkal was twice used in the Czech U-16 selection in 2003, after which he played in 2004 and 2005 for the U-17 team. From 2006 to 2007 the defender was used in the U-19. From 2007 to 2011 Dočkal came regularly in the Czech U- 21 team to use.
