History

The stadium is located as the center of the area of Sports Park in the north of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Mönchengladbach. The area was used until 1996 as North Ayrshire Barracks of the British Army of the Rhine. It is located in the district of Rhein - Dahlen country in the district West.
