Boule-d'Amont

Boule -d'Amont (in Catalan Bula d' Amunt ) is a commune with 64 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Pyrénées- Orientales in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It belongs to the community association Roussillon Conflent.

Geography

Boule -d'Amont is located about 30 kilometers southwest of Perpignan and 20 kilometers north of the border with Spain in the Aspres. The boules flows through the municipal area. The municipality consists of several mas, for example, the Mas de l' Aiguader and the Mas d' Arcos.

History

The monastery Serrabonne belonged in the 11th century, the Augustinian canons who left the monastery church 1151 Zoom. In 1592 Philip II of Spain gave the monastery the cathedral chapter of Solsona.
