Breach (Band)

Breach was a Swedish Sludge and hardcore punk band.

History

The band was formed in Luleå in 1993 and released her first album in 1995, the same period appeared some EPs. Pelle Gunnerfeldt Fireside produced some of the band's albums. Shortly after the release of their fourth album collapses 2002, the Group announced its dissolution.

On 6 December 2007 the band played another concert, which ended with the members of the band destroyed all their instruments. This speculation among fans were fired up, that this was the last show of the band. The Drum finale of Tomas Turunen was described by the Swedish journalist Per Bjurman as " so far one of the best drum performances in his life ."

Style

Breach started as a metal -influenced hardcore band. From the second album the sound was dark and the production of harsh and raw than later post - hardcore bands; they took on influences from hardcore punk, post-rock, Crustcore and Black / Thrash Metal with. The band combines fast, metallic parts with atmospheric, and collapses also undistorted guitar runs.
