Brock Trotter

Brock Trotter ( born January 16, 1987 in Brandon, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since October 2011 at the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Brock Trotter began his career as a hockey player with the Dauphin Kings, for which he was active in the 2003/04 season in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. He was elected to the All- Rookie team in the league. Subsequently, the Center spent one season with the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League, before three years the University of Denver and visited for their team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association was on the ice. With his University team he won the 2008 championship of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Towards the end of the season 2007/ 08 he made his debut in professional hockey for the Hamilton Bulldogs, for whom he played in the following two and a half years in the American Hockey League. For Hamilton's cooperation partner, the Montreal Canadiens, he graduated in the 2009/10 season, his only two appearances in the National Hockey League. He was spot - and with impunity.

For the season 2010/11 Trotter has been committed by the Latvian club Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League. On July 4, 2011 Trotter received a Zweiwegvertrag for a year with the Montreal Canadiens, who used the right-handed shooters in the farm team for the Hamilton Bulldogs. In October 2011, the Habs gave him off together with a seventh- round choice of law in the NHL Entry Draft in exchange for Petteri Nokelainen 2012 and Garrett Stafford to the Phoenix Coyotes. Then he sent them to their AHL farm team, the Portland Pirates.
