Brooker is a city in Bradford County in the U.S. state of Florida with 338 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Geography

Brooker is approximately 20 km west of Starke, and about 100 km south-west of Jacksonville.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 338 inhabitants distributed in 154 households. The population density was 241.4 inh. / Km ². 92.9 % of the population were white, 5.3% African American and 0.3 % Asian Americans. 1.5% were members of other ethnic groups. 2.4% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.

In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 30.4 % of all households lived in 23.2 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 76.1 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ).
