Bruno Bertagna

Bruno Bertagna ( born October 12, 1935 in Tiedoli, Parma, † October 31, 2013 in Parma ) was an Italian Curia, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church.

Life

Bruno Bertagna received on 23 May 1959, the sacrament of Holy Orders. On December 15, 1990, Pope John Paul II appointed titular bishop of Drivastum. He received his episcopal consecration John Paul II on January 6, 1991 at St. Peter's Basilica; Co-consecrators were the Curia Archbishops Giovanni Battista Re, ex officio proceedings in the Secretariat of State, and Justin Francis Rigali, secretary of the Congregation for Bishops.

1994 Bruno Bertagna was appointed Secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Interpretation of Legislative Texts. On 18 December 2006 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. in addition to the General Auditor of the Apostolic Chamber. On 15 February 2007 Bertagna was by Benedict XVI. appointed Vice President of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts and raised Titular per hac vice.

In 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. be pre- mounted for health reasons in resignation. He died in a nursing home in Parma.
