The castle lake is located in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Schwerin directly at Schwerin Castle. It is separated as the eastern bay from Schwerin lake by the castle island and two bridges of this. Flora and Fauna

Remodeling

At the Federal Garden Show 2009, the castle lake was redesigned for about 23 million euros. The hitherto 8.7 acre lake from April to August 2007 was extended south on now 11.1 acres by the dredging.
