Burrelton

Burrelton is a village in the Scottish Unitary Authority Perth and Kinross and traditional Scottish county of Perthshire. It is about 16 km north-east of Perth and 19 km west-northwest of Dundee located. Burrelton directly adjoins the neighboring town of Woodside. In 2001 Burrelton recorded 621 inhabitants, which meant an increase of the number of 382 in 1961.

Burrelton lies between the Sidlaw Hills in the south east and the River Tay in the north. It is connected via the A94, which runs from Perth to Forfar to the road network. The nearest towns are Scone along the road in the southwest and Coupar Angus in the north east. The nearest airport is located about nine kilometers south-west Perth Airport. Once Burrelton was connected to the railway network, the station was abandoned in the meantime.
