Woodside (Perth and Kinross)

Woodside is a village in the Scottish Unitary Authority Perth and Kinross and traditional Scottish county of Perthshire. It is about 17 km north-east of Perth and 18 km west-northwest of Dundee located. Woodside directly adjoins the neighboring Burrelton. In 1971 Woodside recorded 160 inhabitants, which meant a slight decrease of the number of 182 in 1961.

Woodside is located between the Sidlaw Hills in the south east and the River Tay in the north. It is connected via the A94, which runs from Perth to Forfar to the road network. The nearest towns are Scone along the road in the southwest and Coupar Angus in the north east. The nearest airport is located about ten kilometers to the southwest Perth Airport.
